This has been an interesting week in North Texas. Speculation is rampant that no more Super Bowls will ever be scheduled for this area since we have had Snow Thunder, Ice Storms, Snow Storms, Frigid 20 degree F weather for most of this week and inadequate road clearing on top of all the other inconveniences. Mind you, I am not complaining. We had a very nice enjoyable week at home with several good books, a working Ham Station, enabling propagation and when all else fails we had TV. The only down side for us will be paying the huge Natty Gas bill for heating we almost certainly will have to face at the end of this billing cycle. Yet, that is nothing compared to most of the North American experience this winter. So “Shut My Mouth” and enjoy the blessings of winter.
On top of all of the weather curiosities this week I have managed to waste sufficient time that none of my “Job Jar” items have left the “Too Do” pile and moved into the “Completed” pile. Not to worry, they will be very much in evidence whenever I get around to them. Manana! Meanwhile I have birds to feed, Morse to practice and lounging to get done immediately. Cabin Fever does strange things to the motivation of Old Folks after a week of being cooped up. 🙂
Thanks for reading my Blog. Best, Chas W5PG
