Fun and Frolic in CQP 2010

04 Oct

CQP was a gas. It is especially great when you share such an experience. In our case we shared with W1HIS in a multi-single effort that didn’t rock the doors off but was a pleasure to do and very enjoyable. I call multi-single the old man’s category but in truth it is a very social way to enjoy radio contesting.  Ill post results after I go through the log. In the meantime here are a couple of pix to give you a sense of the situation during the test. Looks like a very high pressure contest eh? (!)

Quite the rouge’s gallery don’t you think?

Thanks for reading my Blog. Best, Chas W5PG

Hi Chas, a really nice shack you have there. I understand you had a really good time with the contest. I saw your results with your blood pressure in a previous posting, it’s all the way down. All the best, take care, 73 Paul

Thank you Paul. We did have lots of fun. Multi Single is a sociable way to contest. I call it the old mans class. I still enjoy getting into the fray several times a year even though I am not a proficient contester. It is quite a thrill to capture a new mult or special station while beating out one of the “Big Guns”! Best to you and your family…Chas
